Insubordinate Kingfisher

Firstly many thanks to SUE118, Phil_j and Soulofharmony for their personal and greatly appreciated UA's on the previous Blue Tit image Smile
Thanks to everyone for your votes, comments and clicks.....which are welcomed and also appreciated.

This is an image taken some time ago, never been a personal favourite due to where the subject is sat in the frame. However to date this is my biggest seller so thought what the heck.....Stick it on EPZ Wink

All the best

Dean

I think he should have his catch taken away from him, Dean, for disobeying the rules Wink. A superb capture. Carol

What can I say? what a cracking composition and shot, and a title that made me chuckle. They don't come much better than this, Dean, IMHO.
I note your reservations about the positioning of the kingfisher within the frame, and under other circumstances I'd agree, but here the perch with the mandatory warning makes a difference.......it's as if the bird is trying to distance itself from command or even to pretend it has just noticed it and feels guilty.
So for me the positioning of the elements within the frame is perfect.
Please accept my UA.

Superb capture Dean, with a brilliant title. In this instance I like the way the bird is facing, almost defiantly ignoring the No Fishing instruction! Congrats on the GEA and awards.

As John McEnroe once said, "You cannot be serious"

I wonder how good your favourite ones are like !!!!
