Into the Wormhole! (3D Anaglyph glasses needed for best effect)

By Acancarter
You need Red (left) and Blue (right) filters, gels or anaglyph glasses to really see this in 3 dimensions... you are piloting the starship, just dropped out of warp and are caught in the gravity well of a massive wormhole pulling you onward to the distant galaxy at the exit!. If you look at the tiny central galaxy through your filters it all snaps into 3D! Reverse thrusters, Scotty!

This is a composite of three captures, each scaled and stacked on PS to add to the 3D depth of the image. On a normal size monitor the tiny galaxy will appear almost on the screen and the wormhole will open about 20cm in front. I hope it gives you as much fun as it gave me in producing this!

Thanks for all the votes and comments on Liz's Choice yesterday, I hope it made you smile.

I am desperately seeking blue and red gels and seeing where our granddaughter stowed her 3D glasses!

It looks fascinating but I need the 3D experience!

Absolutely stunning Andy, this image is incredibly 3D without the 3D glasses arriving that I have bought, think my mind will be totally blown when I look at these 3D images with the glasses (can't wait). Keep them coming Andy...RaySmileSmile

OMG! The net like cylinder moves out towards me as I move away from the screen! These really work with the glasses! Chuffed to pieces!
