Introducing My Harem

By teocali
Another from the BWC EPZ meeting on Monday - this little group of Fallow Deer (Dama dama) just looked so complete. The young stag seems very pleased with himself! Taken with the G2 from the boardwalk from about 150yds away. Best viewed large if you have a moment.
Settings: F/6.3 1/640sec ISO320 AV@100mm handheld

Many thanks for your great response to my last upload and a special thank you to John (johnbushell) for the User Award - very much appreciated Smile

Considering the distance involved and hand held, I think you have a staggeringly good shot here, Sylvia. The group is very nicely arranged, detail excellent and the square format seems to suit so well too. Full marks to you.

It doesn't matter which way they face when there is a group, as long as the main character faces or receives the attention, and that has happened here, a fine focal point and a good leed in with the calvert.
Fine capture from that distance

You have picked this little group out well amongst the heard Sylvia, composed the image carefully and chosen the right moment to press the shutter - a fine capture indeed.

I am not at all sure I can add too much to this Sylvia-- except perhaps to say that I am most impressed with that camera. Some lovely shots coming from there.
