Inverewe Garden

By Sue_R
Thought I'd try something completely different - no mountains, lochs or rivers today. Instead I've gone for a tree fern at Inverewe Garden in Wester Ross.

An EPZ friend has been trying to persuade me to have a go at flower pics and I keep saying that I don't do flower pics - well, this is close as I get....for now at least Smile

Thanks for all your votes and comments on my recent uploads and hope you all have a good weekend Smile

Works for me, love the reds in the fallen magnolia leaves and in the grass, they really add interest and balance. You should do more for sure. Ann

Would never have guessed this was one of yours, Sue, how totally different! But how wonderful it is too, great composition and love that tree with its overhanging branches. Cracking stuff.

Thanks all for your votes and comments. It was all a bit of an experiment for me, both the subject and the processing Smile

Thanks John, and you were right. I really should have a go at other things sometimes. Who knows, you may even get me taking flower pics one day after all Smile

Always tempting to stick with what you're best at Sue, but with all art forms, how do you know until you try ? Smile
This is a very good first attempt at processing this sort of shot Sue, but always hard to break off from what people expect of you. Just go for it Girl SmileWink
