Irene is a fellow colleague, art director and designer who threw herself into this really fun 1950's pinup style shoot. In this particular shot I'm shooting through my slightly dirty car windscreen at f3.2 for a nice soft dreamy 50's lifestyle capture. The warm afternoon daylight was supplemented by an off camera SB900 strobe. Would have been interesting to see what effect a polarising filter may have had but I don't have one so we'll never know.

Hi, I am not fan of colour popping but this is a great example to go beyond the usual mono version...
What if all the rest of the picture is in black and white and lipstick and lips are red?
Just an idea.

I'd say this needs precisely the colour palette it has - deep red, sunny highlights - to be what it is.

Evocative, and perfect. Precisely as sharp as it needs to be in exactly the right places.
