Iris abstract 2

By helenlinda
I have several mono conversions of the coloured Iris abstract - this one is bringing out the maximum amount of black, and it retains all the markings on the flower very well.
I was thrilled to bits to receive a User Award from pamelajean for the coloured version yesterday - she always sees such amazing things in my manipulations - and yesterday they included "butterflies, birds, angel fish, sting rays - a bit of an under-water atmosphere"
I wonder if you can see them here too ?
Thanks for looking
Helen

Love the mono! Yes, I can see the butterflies etc too plus a female form in long robe over to left under the angel wings.

I love this as much as the colour version, Helen.
Perhaps posting against a dark background might bring out the intricate detail even better?

Seriously good, Helen. I agree with Bill about a black viewing bg to give it even more impact.

The mono conversion makes us look at the form more - this would make a wonderful mural.

More about the shapes in mono, Helen. Less organic and more material-like.

Thanks everyone - yes, I had intended to set it against black, which is why I had not given it a black border - thanks for the prompt Bill - consider it done !!!

Looks good in mono too, Helen, but if I had to choose, the colour would just win it! Wink
