I've been out gathering wild fennel for meals, don't usually do that until March Smile
A gorgeous hebe, we have wild ones here, but they are not in bloom yet.

What a superb photo, Dave! What happens when the real winter sets in? All the plants and animals must be so confused.

Crazy weather playing havoc with plants and wildlife, nice shot Dave.

Oh no its all gone horribly wrong not the photo that is lovely the weather I mean! Looks very lush not surprised after all this rain. I have walked down the seafront. The rain is dripping off the cliff edge like a waterfalls in several places. The stream to the sea has not flooded but it was a mm from the top!!!!!

Thanks kindly Christina, Cliff, and Len. Yes, strange what is appearing so very early.....one small plus is that it has filled my small ponds up to the top, which will be nice later for amorous frogs Wink
All the best,

That cliff is very dodgy, isn't it Debs, the council are already monitoring it but I can see more fairly large chunks of it falling onto the beach soon, and as for the pub....not nice for them. Still, on the plus side lets hope true Spring isn't too far away. And if the govt bemoan low levels in any reservoirs this year....,\$||! !! Wink

The seasons are all to pot, Dave, with plants flowing when they ought to be resting up: but this unseasonal flowering has allowed capture of a beautiful image.
Glad you told us what it was as I'd not have had a clue.

Lovely shot Dave. Everything has gone mad. Even the horses are confused as our grass is growing! Cathy
3 Jan 2016 8:48PM
That's really strange, Cathy, but I can understand why it would confuse the horses. Let's hope it's not too long before 'real' Spring'.

A beautiful, if out of season image. The weather is crazy, and getting crazier.....when are the powers that be ever going to get it!!!!!

How amazing.. it is too warm for the plants and wild lives to be confused...Grin
Ah, I've got to tell you that I saw a black cap bird on my bird feeder yesterday.. i haven't seen it(them) for 10 or 15 years...
7 Jan 2016 2:05PM
Great you saw a blackcap, Jas, I usually get them regularly on my feeder but haven't seen either male or female yet this year. (Female has brown 'cap' not black).
All the best,

Dave Wink.
Absolutely beautiful
