During the recent flooding, the river Brue was in full spate. The force of the water pushing through the narrow bridge at Baltonsborough created lots of temporary whirlpools.
Each one would last 5 to 15 seconds and due to the the fast flow and turbulence of the water, were hard to predict and catch.
The colour of the water shows just how much soil was being lost in the run off from the surrounding fields and levels. he water at this point was over10.5m deep
