Is this an acceptable perch said the Kiskadee

Great Kiskadees are lovely singers and come here quite often. As their favourite menu consists of flies and midges I welcome them.
But they rarely pose and certainly don't visit feeders.

So I didn't have the time to count the leaves Smile

Well the natural perch is perfect and seeing this Kiskadee for the first time is a treat. What a rich yellow body he has. Funny how yellow suddenly means more recently. TG

A very beautiful bird Annette ! That is the trouble with insect feeders, they fend for themselves. The only trouble,is that they are supersensitive to the use of insecticides, and are usually the first casualties to go extinct. You are stlll lucky to have them ! Regards Martin

A stunning bird - such a glowing yellow - looks close or very large since you don't give lens length or is that a fixed lens?
