Isolated Kelpie

By onlythepony
As I couldn't hang around for the Kelpies to light up ( an hour after sunset - so around 10.30 pm at this time of year ) I tried to get some different angles of them and spent most of the time laid on my back in various poses !
Most of the shots I took I've tried to avoid getting the pylons in , either totally or just leaving the power lines which are easier to remove. One of the advert posters I saw for the Kelpies they had photoshopped most of the pylons out ... but if you look in the left corner of the picture they had literally stopped a couple of inches from the edge and left the tiny pylons in !
Anyway , will probably upgrade to a plus account once I get some more processed and add some series shots of my tour Smile

For those of us who haven't visited the kelpies, it's good to see the back of this one. I didn't realise how beautiful the design of the mane was. Well done for getting some unusual angles.

Cheers Smile If you get the chance they are well worth the visit - though if you want to see them lit up it's an hour after sunset - I might have another trip in the autumn so I can see the lights Smile
I like to try different angles and trying to avoid the background distractions as much as possible Smile
