Isolation Image #1 - Wren

By richmowil
Staying within the Corvid 19 guidance, I decided to take images from my shed in the garden, I'd already knocked one of the windows out some time ago and replaced it with a removable Perspex sheet. My whole garden is 8x8 metres sq and into that eats a 4x3 mtr conservatory and 8x6ft shed.. The small garden backs on to a tiny copse with a main road 30 metres beyond that. I have a small feeding station that has been there over 30 years. It amazes me what visits the garden. Getting images of them is a different matter. My Isolation list so far (3 weeks and a bit in) is 23 species (Not all photographed). The first of which I have posted today.
Thanks for you votes, comments and user awards all very much appreciated.
I will catch up later in the day
Regards Bill

Excellent image.
Am doing similar in my garden during lockdown, less birds than normal though, probably about 20 species so far.

An excellent capture.

Having a small area to photograph in is arguably better as the birds will congregate in an easier to observe area. Bacvking onto a copse sounds good as that will contain a lot of birds that can then, if they feel the need, to just pop into your garden.

Cracking sharp and detailed Wren capture Bill, dissapointed we are missing the Spring wildlife. But need to stay safe, won’t be going to Washington for quite some time I reckon. And even then social distancing in the hides will prove difficult
