Actually I found this one in the shed trying to escape through the window and being as I never like to miss an opportunity I just had to set him up for his portrait
It's actually a Plume Moth
Amblyptilia acanthadactyla with a wingspan of 20mm and can be found in most habitats including gardens, hedges and coastal areas from July through to May. Often comes indoors to hibernate, the larvae feed feed on various herbaceous plants.
V1 was shot @ x1 magnification, V2 @ x2.5. Both images were made using the stacking method.
