It was all yellow...

Hello Everyone!

Thanks so much for your kind comments, votes and special thanks to Ron and Arne for their treasured awards on the Scarlet Tempest. It means a lot when you talented lot like my photographs, and tells me I am on the right track.

Today's photograph, is a field of rapeseed (canola), I encountered on an early morning walk yesterday. These fields of yellow are such a delight, I hope I have done it justice, and you like it it too.

The title, 'it was all yellow', is from the Coldplay song, which was playing in my head when I took the photo.

Lovely with yellow fields like this Hannah.
Beautiful colours and a very good composition.
Also a very good choice of aperture.
Could have been nice with a person standing in this tracks.

Thanks Arne, I remembered what you said re aperture, pleased I got this right...the farmer is a bit grumpy about people in his field but I see your point, people add perspective. Smile

Beautiful l..love seeing canola in bloom . The tracks really add to shot …bet the farmer was not happy about some idiot who drove onto his field !
