Italian Stallion

By maggieh
On a rainy day in Sienna as we cowered under an awning I noticed this scene. We all know that some Italians have great style and this young blood was immaculately "suited and booted". He was looking into the window of a very expensive mens outfitters. I loved his elegant pose.

Like both images but I feel the colour image adds to his elegance and manner of standing, certainly looks as if he loves himself.

A great image - he was probably admiring his reflection in the window, rather than what was in the shop itself!!

Clever work in V1, very stylish - but V2 is a damn good picture in its own right.
He's a bit too smooth for me, but we wrinklies have to have some fun in life!

I see what you mean, he's a bit of a stunner isn't he?! What a wonderful stance you've captured. The rest of us would be looking damp and in need of a towel and hairbrush while he's cool and sophisticated posing under his brolly. Excellent shot Mags, love the selective toning too! Has to be V1 for that.

Looks good enough to eat..........I like both shots very much. For me V2 looks more of a model shot.

Very nice indeed and gets my vote every day of the week!
