Its that Woodpecker again.....

Another shot of one of the Great Spotted Woodpeckers (Dendrocopos major) who frequents our garden. The colder weather seems to make them hungrier and therefore less shy.

Settings: F/5.6 1/800sec ISO160 @700mm manual tripod

Super light and detail Sylvia. Not the best or natural of perches but hey i cant even get them to stop for me, jealous....yep...sure
Superb garden capture. Sneak out and stick a silver birch stump about 10 feet high in the garden next to the feeders....
