I do apologise for the age of this one, i don't wish to insult by not bothering to find new 'work' for you, but i simply have not been anywhere. Off to sunny Somerset next week for a wedding but also doing some small animal stuff along the way so more furries soon.

We never stop learning but this was taken whilst i was still officially learning with my friend John Wright - this workshop still runs near his home in Rutland area and is well worth attending.

The trick here was to shoot wide enough to not accidentally crop the wings but close enough to retain the detail - unusually for me no EC, not that it needs it but even -1/3 would have offered that slightly faster shutter - 1/500 was probably a bit of a gamble.

Fantastic in flight shot, superb detail and colours, exceptionally well captured Smile


PS I still have the original image of the two knights and when I have the time, I will have a ago at your suggestion Smile
