Jaguar

By Pygar
A different take on the usual classic car image, this 1930's 'S' type jaguar was captured at the Chatsworth House country fair the unusual angle was created by using a wide angle lens and the use of a tilt screen whilst holding the camera aloft and some judicial cropping. Makes for an unusual shape almost whale tail.

Just incase you were wondering this is the genuine article 1936 all but the cat badge bonnet mascot which is 2 years older...lol

Wonderful photograph of such a beautiful and exciting looking vehicle. Terrific angle of view that adds so much interest to the image.

not sure about the distortion caused by that wide lens and the point of view. Sadly, it reminds me of an escapee from Chitty Chitty Bang Bang rather than a classic Jaguar.

A superb point of view which does much to show off and, with that focal length, even exaggerate (?) the beautiful lines of the vehicle. A lovely and memorable shot. SmileSmileSmile
