to much going on here, for my tastes, Jamie.

perhaps if the crowd looked interested, or were cheering and waving their hands or something, it would have been worth including them.

you seem to have nailed the timing, but for top notch sports pics that sell, i reckon you need to really tighten up your compositions.

Yes, definitely not to everyones taste but the only angle you can get a serve like this and still be tight is from a heli above - and Keith said I wasn't allowed to hassle Linda for her's Wink

I wish the crowd had been more active - but THIS IS TENNIS!! lol

After this weekend I have discovered many things about tennis and next time I wil be even tighter. Not many people can be perfect first time they shoot a sport but with another match or 2 under my belt I should be heading in the right direction.

Karting - now i can get tight at that but I have been doing it for over a year so i'm a bit more experienced at it.

I'll get there in the end lol,

Cheers

Now then Master James.

I know what you thought when you saw this...."Look at how sharp I've got both the ball and the player."

and forget to see that you'd got a bit of camera gantry and a flat crowd and it all looked a bit of a mish mash....BUT...as an exercise in timing and focusing....bob on.

Sometimes half a raquet is enough.

Look up Mark's stuff on Getty...his real day job is Motorsport...I hope you collared him on Sunday...he shoots F1...and then talk to me about clipped tyres....and he's right up there, Jimbo.

The only thing he said to me was a series of seal noises!

He was rushing round like a mad man.

I've been looking at the getty site all day getting a feel for the stuff that sells.
