January Moon

By cymroDan
A shot form back in January, on the first full moon. Taken while it was still relatively light in order to capture the silhouette of the winding tree branches.

It was just about underexposing it. The sky was actually quite a lot lighter, but because you need to underexpose the moon to get any detail, the sky was darkened also - but fittingly so. The moon however was very low and yellow, around 5.30pm I guess. Think 1/125sec handheld, at 200mm, f/5.6 sufficed as the trees were in the distance also.

Thanks for other comments also Smile
