My mother used kitchen scales just like these! 😃 Think it needs another weight to balance those scales...or you could take out a few beans and send them over here... 😁😋👍

Wow, Dewdrops, I had forgotten about those. Lots of 'old fashioned' sweeties are no longer sold....some are making a comeback though but don't taste the same as when I was a kid.
There is a great shop in Lincoln City that sells old fashioned sweeties, you can ask for a gift basket from the year you were born yum....sherbert dibdabs and cola cubes
