Absolutley beautiful shot. Great colours, great subject. First class. Has the feel of an old master oil painting.

Paul this is gorgeous. I agree with JP about the old master feel to it. Beautiful colours and feel. (5)

I like the subtle blurring you appear to have introduced and the almost fluorescent colours. Very clever, thanks for sharing! I'm sure most of us would like to know a little about the technique used.

It does look like an old master oil painting. It is stunning!

I like the colours a lot, really nice cool feel with texture. I think the composition could have been tweaked - I just can't see it on the wall in a frame, too much empty space with the subject right to the side. Lovely light though.

Has a biblical feel to it, lighting and texture to the fore. Composition a tad weak but so much texture and detail in the wall to retain interest. Very nice indeed.

This image has an old world feel to it Paul . Thought I'd already commented on it , must have been side tracked . Looks as if you have painted the wall thickly with a palette knife and oils . Well done +5

Thanks for the encouraging comments on this pic. Pete asked for the technique which is simple enough (a bit like me really Wink I have posted the method in the feedback section of the forum.

Thanks again..

Somehow this image has escaped my notice until now, but I knew straight away from the thumbnail preview that I'd like it ... I was already wondering why it hadn't received more clicks! Warm congratulations on the well-deserved EC. Love it. *click*

I love this, I clicked it a while ago when I didn't have time to comment. I've just been looking for your article on the method you used but I'm not sure what to look under. Can you point me in the right direction?
