Jumping Spider

By Freila
I feel very lucky to get this. Right Place Right time and I had a camera with me. Only a few days ago I was showing my 4 year old some photos off the internet, some of which were Thomas Shahan http://thomasshahan.com/photos ( in my dreams could I ever get a photo that good or even know where to find these insects) when we were out today she spotted a small spider and then it jump ... could it be a jumping spider .. I told her not to take her eye of it while I rushed to get my camera and at the end of us both on our tummy's for some time ,we got this.
Thank you for Looking
Debbie

Yes, a Jumping Spider - the cutest little spiders you'll ever find! You've caught this one brilliantly - lovely colours and details! (Just a tiny bit soft, did you remember to sharpen it after re-sizing for upload?) Smile

Wow! Brilliant capture Debbie, You gotta love those little critters Smile
Did you get a proper macro lens or is this a "reverse lens" shot?
Or did you get it with that little Lumix camera?
Either way it's a super shot Smile
Well done
Ricky.

Hi Ricky
I got this with the lumix it's a great little thing I just carry with me when I go out, but the one bad thing about it is the battery never last the day. Unlike my canon ( which at the time I only had the 210 lens on ) seems to last and last .
