Jurrassic Gloom

Soon after I took the last shot I uploaded, the clouds came in.
It really got very gloomy very quickly. These shots are usually called before the rain, but I have to be honest and say you couldn't really call what happened next rain, there was the odd spot, a bit of drizzle maybe, but nothing spectacular.
Enough to drive me back to my car for the next installment of Harry Potter.
I've done a mono version too which looks dramatic.

This has been a good series Jon, fabulous light and colour. The improved tonal range of your new toy really pays dividends . V1 for me ,

Nice sense of impending doom/storm in this. Mono version has the edge for me.

Mike I have been amazed by the subtle differences between the two cameras, I couldn't reccommend upgrading to anyone with a 300d, but I wouldn't go back!
It is I think the tonal quality of the new beasty that does it, plus the extra speed you get with it (fab for HDR).

On second thoughts, I can and do recommend it to anyone with a 300d!

Both fine works Jon, but 1, has an intensity of mood with that colour tone, and picking up the golden colour in the cliff and pebbles makes a fine image, Adrian
