Just grazin’

By TrevBatWCC
I think Goathland is the only village I been to where sheep roam around freely all over the place, and have no road sense either Wink Most of the village is grass, so there is plenty of it for them to feed on…
These four images were taken at the opposite end of the village to the Goathland Hotel, near to the shops. The image bottom right was a one-handed grab shot, as I was sat on a seat enjoying an ice cream at the time, and think these sheep got a whiff of it when they came sidling up to me and expected me to share it with them, I believe! Well, if you nibbled at grass all day, you’d fancy something different, wouldn’t you? Tongue

Single Raw images processed in Adobe Camera Raw, Tone Mapped in Photomatix Pro and tweaked in Elements 6.

Thanks again to everyone for your votes & comments on my previous uploads, it really is appreciated and encouraging.

What a lovely set of images. The sheep in Ireland have the same idea, they wander where they want without a care in the world.

These pictures all nicely show how the sheep roam freely, and I particularly like the one bottom right.

A very handsomely presented series of shots combined into this one image so cleverly and effectively, Trev: each shot is worthy of attention in it's own right too.

This would make a fantastic postcard, it captures the village's character perfectly. Quite seriously, I'd suggest you send this to Goathland Post Office and see if they're interested.

Looks like a great place and, yes, I'd definitely go for ice cream in preference to grass any day, but then I'm not a sheep Smile
