Just me

By ripleysalien
Had a quick dash to Sandsend for sunset last evening, 30 mins before sunset the sun went behind the hill and the place was dark.
I met upwith Ash and he suggested Whitbys East pier, so we nipped down and had a natter as we took some long exposures.
Cheers Ash, sorry mate i know i can yap.

This is full frame ( no crop) black and white layer @ about 20%, layers layer on the sky ( mid and shadow) lightened the land in the middle a tiny bit and a sharpen.

A stunning landscape. I like this very much. The sky is dramatic and the reflections are lovely.

Good mood and drama Steve, and is that a strong composition using a big fg stone I see? Wink Still you didn't go so far as to put the horizon on thirds! Wink
No stones on Salty beach last night where I was, but there was a little piece of driftwood, so it came with me, strategically placed in the fg of a few shots. Might even get to download the card and look at them sometime (it's the one with Whitby on from last weekend!)

Cheers Ash I will have a run over with ya, gotta get a couple of images I suppose.

Hi Leigh, taking your own fg interest is cheating you know, and you manage fine without it.
A little break can sometimes do your togging good too, gives the eyes and mind a break, and when you go back it all seems fresh, just dont do what I did and leave it for 10 years eh Wink
You sorted Whitby T.I. or is that on todays to do list?
Ta for the comment, and that there is MY rock !!!!
Thirds!! whats that then....Smile
You may have candids on that card, do we get to see em if you do?

Sorted nice and early - what a relief Smile
Not sure if you'll see any candids. Not my forte, but I hope I may have a decent sunset from Saltburn beach, just for something really novel. Smile
