Terrific shot! Glad you managed to get off of the ledge to upload this. Looks as if you have used a Gaussian Blur in post process which works really well in diffusing the detail in the distance and clouds while maintaining good focus on the foreground.

Really like this - well done.

Bob, I don't quite know where to start because I like so much about this image. First is is strongly emotonally enriching giving a sense of space and calm. Second the light and colour is beautiful. Third the depth from foreground fern to distant peak is impressive. And then there's the great line of the road...

One of the bestI've seen for a long time,

Great view Bob with the fern and the rock face in the f/g and with the line of mountains corresponding with the curve of the road.
