Justin's Original Fudge & Toffee Shop

By TrevBatWCC
Heading back along Whitby's Church Street you can't miss seeing this, Justin's Original Fudge & Toffee Shop, founded over 30 years ago by John Justin Coope, Master Chocolatier, generally known as Justin. Sadly he died on 16th December last year, but the shop continues to be run by his family selling it's range of more than 100 types of handmade chocolates and fudge, which are sold to people not just in Whitby but all over the world.
Many thanks to 1881 (sanjeev kumar bhuyan) for his User Award on my previous upload, 'A wet morning on Henrietta Street', much appreciated! Smile

Single Raw image processed in Adobe Camera Raw 7, tweaked in Photomatix Pro 4 and Photoshop Elements 11.

Thanks again to everyone for your votes & comments on my previous uploads, it really is appreciated and encouraging.

A beautifully quaint and so very well observed and composed image. Whilst your choice of processing adds to the nostalgic charm and character Trevor.

I love Fudge and mouth watering just looking Trev, wonderful nostalgic capture and I hope they have many years ahead of them, too many shops like this are finding it hard to survive.

Your processing emphasises the 'Olde Worlde' character of the establishment. It's the kind of shop I daren't look inside: it's a substitute Dracula, it would get its teeth into me in no time BlushBlushBlush

I could go mad in a shop like that: good to know it is to continue with the family at the helm.
Brings back memories of so many small shops from my youth, long before supermarkets dealt the death knell of so many smaller businesses.
Oh, and bye the bye, a dine crisp capture of this survivor.
