Juvenile Great Spotted Woodpecker

By Holmewood
Thank you so much for the votes and comments on my last upload. Special thanks to Jeff (kojack), Fred (Badgerfred), David (davidgibson) and Patty (pentaxpatty) for your lovely User Awards.

We went up to the hide today and I caught this Juvenile who is a regular visitor. V1 is another shot and the last two versions are my set up for anyone who is interested. I take down the feeders when I take shots and replace the small stick in the green pipe with a feeder perch. I have added the larger stick perch as I wanted to change the perch that the birds land on. The reason I leave the small stick in when I have finished is a little Blue Tit got stuck down the pipe and it took me ages to release it as I had to take some screws out. The last shot is inside the shed with Stan's bed. The camouflage net is what I put across the door in the hot weather. Hope you like them.

Have a great evening.

Cathy and Stan
