Hi Michael & welcome to ePz.
You did well to get a shot from your window,so much better than standing outdoors a this time of year.
Colours are good as is your dof,just enough to isolate the bird from the bg.
Focus is slightly off though,looks as though you have it on the bird's back rather than in the all important place...on the head/eye,which on this image is soft.
I quite like the pose but there is no catchlight in the eye to bring her 'alive'
I do like the perch.
Keep at it,you will get there.
