Due to a couple of issues over the last couple of days, not been on the site since my last upload on Monday, one of which was another appointment with my doctor yesterday re my epileptic attack whilst away. Had an ECG done whilst there, which showed my ticker was OK, and the brain scans I had in Stuttgart had also showed as OK. However, I do have to continue taking the Levetiracetam tablets I was put on, and they do make you feel a bit sleepy, but at least they should help prevent any further attacks.
Anyway, Käthe Wohlfahrt is a German company that sells Christmas decorations and articles, and was founded in 1964 in Herrenberg near Stuttgart by the husband and wife couple, Wilhelm and Käthe Wohlfahrt. It was taken over by their son, Harald, and the firm moved from Herrenberg to their main shop here on Herrngasse in Rothenburg ob der Tauber in 1977. It features a Christmas Museum and a Christmas exhibition. The shop is open all year long and claims to have the world's largest selection of more than 30,000 traditional German Christmas decorations. This Asquith vintage car, promoting it, is parked in front of the museum, and though I didn't go inside the museum, grabbed a couple of shots of the car - if you look closely in V2, you can see my reflection!
