The colour has so much more impact for me, and red being the colour of communism it ties in pretty well with the subject matter and title too. I like the perspective leading the eye into the shot, and there's all those book titles to read in the large version.

This one has to be colour! The red book covers in the foreground are both apt and satisfying, don't they match the walls beautifully.

The colour is the one for this shot especially everything being red. The mono version loses so much
