Katie Morag

By woodrow
Findhorn is a marvelous setting, to the left of this boat sits a quaint coastal village, the harbour has a number of small boats - Katie Morag being just one..

Shot late evening at low tide; i liked the way that the boat had come to rest and that the seaweed showed the way tide had receded and the placement of the sister boat behind (identical boat - different colour scheme). The wisp of cirrus cloud was also nice, I confess it looked better in real life - i would have needed a pano' camera or done stitching to show that though.

thanks for looking

Paul

Truly magnificent - the texture of the beach, the weeg, the perspective, the sky - everything!

Lovely view.
The wonderful feather Cirrus has added that certain something extra to this lovely scene. Great colour and detail, nice observation.
