Keep still!

Scanning in some of my slides recently, I came across this shot from 1980. I got my hide onto a whimbrel nest in Shetland just as the chicks were hatching. The young were all over the place as soon as their down had dried. Mum wanted them to come in to brood, eventually one of them found out what that long, curved beak was for!
