Kenyan Eagle

Taken on safari in Kenya several years ago when the driver stopped almost underneath this chap, to get some shade from the dazzling sun. Unfortunately I have forgotten what breed he is so I would be most grateful if anyone knows please; perhaps a Crowned Eagle.

Nearest I can get without colour or rough size is an Ayres Hawk Eagle, approx 18" tall, so a fairly big bird. Hope this helps a little.

It looks a real regal bird, and with the feathers on the top of its head could well be a crown.
