Keswick In January.

By Tooma
Keswick sits just north east from the top of Derwent Water. It was surprisingly busy for January, and very tourist orientated, especially if you are into the outdoors. I still found it an attractive wee town.

"Keswick is an English market town and a civil parish, historically in Cumberland, and since 1974 in the Borough of Allerdale in Cumbria. Lying within the Lake District National Park, Keswick is just north of Derwentwater and is 4 miles from Bassenthwaite Lake.".

Love the light off the wet paths.
Keswick is my favourite town in England, hardly a year goes by without a visit. This year the pictures maybe all I see of it.

It is nice to see these tourist's traps off-season, and still quite busy. It is probably quite different now but hopefully getting more visitors.

A beautiful image of Keswick Tom !!
It reminds me of a much more historic version of Church Street in my home town of Burlington.
