Two great images Colin and I really like V2.
I may have cloned the brush in the bottom left corner as it pulls the eye out of frame.
V1 is the most interesting for processing as it's about the figure in the background. Do you crop much closer and just pick out the group. On the other hand does the background figure make the image more interesting...

I know what you mean about the guy in the background
To crop him out I think would have been too tight
I think he does make the image interesting, although given the choice I would have preferred him not to be there
Could I PS him out? Maybe with a lot of fiddling. Although when I took this shot I knew even less about PS!
