Kimmeridge Bay - Ledge

By How1e
Tripod, Remote Release, Manual Ex, Spot metered on foreground, Sigma 10-20mm, 8ND Grad.

These rocks are just the most fantastic things to photograph, my wife even bought one of the smaller ones home. She says I can borrow it for foreground interest whenever I want but its a bit heavy for the camera bag. So this got me thinking about marketing a photographers inflatable rock. Take it with you and inflate for instant foreground interest. Should complete the business plan by next week and find a manufacturer in Taiwan. How1e's Inflatable Rock. Hope they get the spelling right on the packaging!!!

Kimmeridge is a great location! You could make the rock out of polystyrene and sell the idea to Blue Peter?

Very good foreground detail and reflected light. A lovely colour to the sky too. Good capture.

Very nice. I keep going back to kimmeridge the clear skies are limiting. You've successfully made the most of it by concentrating on the foreground instead.
BYW, your horizon needs straightening.

Never tire of these rocks (and the pool!). Nice capture but agree with Dan - even better with a straight horizon.

Fab shot. I have done some shots at Kimmeridge myself. I will miss that location having moved North, but it is great to see images still being posted from there. Lovely light and great foreground detail. I like the highlight in the wave as well.
