Really good f/g detail. I think the seaweed area is perhaps too light and could be toned down so it visually recedes and there's a black spot in the sky above the mid-point of the headland.

I think the image is excellent and well composed.

I think if you have a 20% rate of good sunsets to bad at Kimmeridge then you're doing very well. I've been there 6 or 7 times now and had only one good sunset. Maybe I'm just bad at weather forcasting?

Alan,
Thanks for all those comments. The black spot you are refering to is an MOD flag letting you know that the firing range is in use. I toyed with the idea of cloning it out, but settled on the, 'but it was there' argument!
Fair point about the sunsets, tenacity will pay off, I'm determined.

Fair point about the flag. I couldn't see exactly what it was, so assumed it shouldn't be there.

Sunset or not - it doesn't really matter. The light, tones, sky and sharpness are great. The stones and the clarity through the foreground water contrast well with the subtle motion effect caught with the sea...
