King's College Chapel from the Backs

By id_wright
Probably the least original shot in the world, but I liked the look of the afternoon sun on the buildings and the dark band of cloud behind.

Many thanks for looking, any comments greatly appreciated!

BTW - any idea why the colours look less saturated in Internet Explorer compared with Windows Explorer or Photoshop - the colours were more vibrant before I uploaded the picture!

The late afternoon light on those beautiful buildings makes this an excellent shot. JNC

Many thanks for the comments. The colours should be even more saturated, but unfortnately didn't know about converting files to sRGB before uploading. Such a lot to learn!

Thats a great shot,i think the colour n light are spot on myself, its intresting you mention the difference in colour, its very frustrating when an image differs so much between camera, computer screen, and then a printed final image, happens to me a lot !

Many thanks for the comments everyone!
Have discovered why the colours appeared wrong on my monitor before - was using Internet Explorer. Now that I've switched to Firefox (colour managed), it's all fixed!
