Kylemore Abbey

By ANNIEKERR
Kylemore Abbey, Connemara , Ireland taken earlier this year. A beautiful old abbey that was used as an international private boarding school for girls until recently (Madonna's daughter Lourdes attended here for a few terms)run by the Benedictine Nuns but closed several years ago. Now partially open to the public and also a retirement home for some of the nuns. A gorgeous spot though, well worth a visit

Perfect reflections and lighting- excellent shot. Think I might have included a little more of the tree left of frame to 'hold the image in' on the left at the expense of the right hand end of the image. paul
