Ladies in Red

Another of 3 red Poppies,this time I chose a nice mucky corner in Alison's garage to photograph these WinkA bit of a squeeze getting the tripod in as there was a nice shiny sports car in the way...no Alan,I didn't scratch it Wink
Lit by daylight from a window opposite.
An HDR image of 3 frames,combined & tonemapped in Photomatix.
Tonemapping won't work all the time on every image but I think it brings out the textures of the petals on these Poppies nicely.

F16 manual mode
tripod
F/L 50mm
Raw files converted in Lightroom.
2 textures added on adjustment layers in Photoshop.

Beautiful Image and presentation and think a shadow cast from the poppies would work too? Shadows make for Drama and Impact Wink
