Laggan Hill

By almiles
It's not a hilltop castle or spectacular mountain top, but around Grantown the transmitter masts on Laggan Hill are a bit of a focal point to landscape images. Got to make do with what you have rather than wishing for what you don't!
Second image from my Sunday walk with with the kids. I have about 3 more to post as there was some spectacular light behind my shoulder from this one.

The curve of the bits of fallen trunk swing the eye nicely towards the distant masts, and the sun is emphasising the late summer/early autumn warm colours so well.
Portrait format again so effective in this scene.

Beautiful light, Al, and the wood provides essential interest and a good lead in, in the foreground.
