Quote:How can you post an image like that. It's quite degrading to this woman.
We all see things differently. I am seeing a strong, determined woman, exultant in achievement, mission accomplished. A hundred years ago we were told that our bodies, minds and reputations could not cope with athletics. For me this is liberating, empowering, not degrading. (The long jump was my discipline fifty years ago. This is what it feels like... )

Moira, thanks !! You did a "job" for me! When photographing public events (sports, dance, opera, etc.), I have always held the moral code of! I never published photos would prejudice the people who were caught (though I have hundreds of such that "yellow" press, happily announced)! My respect to women, go beyond that with all due respect, we introduced the Vikings as one of the first steps women equality !!!
He also expressed thanks to all the attention!
Nice day I wish you. Velja

So you just pick the worst images and post them instead because you personally want the moral code off? If I captured an image of your scrotum, would you want that image posted online ? How can you claim your moral code to be off AND talk about respect at the same time. What you think while you capture images and what images are captured on your memory card does not matter - what matters is what you do with those images. I know you easily could have posted another image, yet you chose this one intentionally. I wonder why...

That woman trained hard to get that far... she has challenged herself
and would not be in the least worried about a photographer
let along a man taking it! she was out to win and you have captured this on her face
a very well timed and captured shot... well done to you!
have you seen the images he tries to get!!
