Landscape #14 The Gorge and Watkins Glen #5

By handlerstudio
So, the final images from Watkins Glen. The first two are looking down into the gorge, the third photo is vineyards on the Western shore of Seneca Lake. Since I really, pretty much do not use Photoshop, the wire in the photo is still there.

I would like to thank all my friends for comments, votes, and a few UAs for this series. Not quite sure what I load up tomorrow.

By the weekend, I will be off for the weekend. We, three chapters of Citizens' Climate Lobby (Philadelphia, which I lead, Bucks/Montgomery Counties, and Chester County), are hosting the Mid Atlantic Regional Conference of CCL here in Philadelphia. I have been one of the small group that has been the organizing committee, working since about October to put this together. We are working to lobby the US Congress (and the Canadian Parliament) to pass a revenue neutral fee on carbon with a dividend, and we have chapters around the world (including two in Australia, Colleen).

Then, go down to Baltimore on Tuesday evening and will be there till the following Monday doing my biggest craft show of the year, the American Crafts Council Craft show in Baltimore.

If you are referring to V3, Francis, that is Seneca Lake, about 3 miles wide, maybe, and about 60 miles long. Running north-south.

An excellent set, Peter - wonderful POVs in the lead and V1; I love the feeling of 'freedom' V2 seems to give.
Good luck with the Conference and Craft Show.

The wild nature of lead and v.1, against the calm of v.2. All of them are excellent, no other words needed!

Wonderful set Peter, particularly like V1 with the figures giving scale to the size of the gorge.

A very enjoyable series from Watkins Glen Peter- fitting that i`m listening to Mick Jagger sing `` watch the river flow `` as I write this. I agree with Dudler V2 is a cool shot
