Thanks Ron. I know the film Lassie was a Rough Collie but this lovely Border was the understudy! WinkWink

Knew this had to be yours, Kath as soon as I saw it! 😃 A lovely scene and capture of it (even lovelier viewed large). And the lonesome dog's the icing on the cake 🐕👍🏻👍🏻

Thank you Wallace and Trev. Also your fantastic award Trev. Yes Wallace, yesterday I returned to the scene of more of my photographic crimes! Different camera but the same canal walk. We lost the light a little so I have three B/W images to upload. Former warehouse buildings and mill but now swish apartments.

Cold and damp here too, roll on spring!

Great image Kath, you have captured the detail front to back and injected it with your usual drama. It had to be you!
Blimey there's a song title there somewhere.

That’s a lovely capture Kath. And were you ready to offer cuddles to the approaching dog? 😉 I’m glad you enjoyed yourself with your friends.

Thank you all so much for those lovely comments! I have counted the leaves but didn't get beyond 25 before I dropped off John!

The dog was lovely but busy with his stick! Dark and moody, you could be describing me James! 😂😅🤦‍♀️

Thanks all,
Kath

The bareness of winter, well captured in all its monochrome profuseness, Kath. The apparent contentment of the small dog nicely lightens the sombre scene. Bob
