Last of The Many

PZ865 a Mk IIc Hurricane the last Hurricane ever built. She was finished in summer 1944, just one of 14,533 built throughout the war. She bares the inscription ‘The Last of the Many’ on her port and starboard sides and is still flying as part of the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight. Here she is seen, at the ripe old age of 66 performing a fly past over Lytham St Annes, part of a 1940s event marking the 70th anniversary of the Battle of Britain
