I really don't know much about portraits, but I like this composition. Could do with a bit more light, probably, but imho this looks pretty good.

This is a close 2nd to self2. It has a bit of mystery to it. Well done and look forward to seeing more.

Like this one Sara, but the 3 strands of hair going across your nose are off putting. just me.

the eyes are desperately missing a catchlight.

Very playful pose, nice crop. It lacks light I think, which makes it a bit flat looking. You could try a reflector, one can be made with a piece of card and tinfoil if you are just beginning. Best form of light is diffused daylight. Its very brave putting up a self portrait and I'd be interested to see this one in colour. Welcome to ePZ! Smile K.

like the series i think you could have done a picture or two not looking at the camera similar to your mum shot.

A really nice composition, but I agree that a catchlight would be even more flattering.

I quite like this image, but agree in the fact that i found the loose hair distracting. I have uploaded a modded version, hope you like it.

another beautiful intimate portrait, but the light is a bit flat. i have to say i like what ghostrider did with it the most. amazing what detail you can find in a jpeg. it's the eye that makes this picture.

though i didn't mind the hairs.

I like the curving of the hair across the face here. Click!

Hi Sara, I joined the club and did a mod too. In the mod the thumbnail looks like there's a lot of brightness in bottom left, it's not so obvious when it is bigger. Cheers, Julia
