Late October Observations

By LynneJoyce
All taken on the 30th of this month and again ending with an example of nature's perversity. There was much getting down and dirty in the woods to capture this lot and it involved getting very wet too. Several shots had to be discarded due to the late intrusion of curious dogs' noses.

Thank you for viewing and I hope that you enjoy at least some of these images.

A very nicely sought out selection of fungi with Sulphur Tufts (Hypholoma Fasiculare) featuring in both the lead shot and in the versions.
You also have a few bracket fungi but ID there is less easy.
I know all about getting down and dirty, but also the increasing difficulty in regaining an upright posture again.
I always carry a large poly bag for kneeling on and that does help.
With all life's restriction of recent and our continuing avoiding of crowds, etc. a walk in the local park's forest allows us to seek out fungi, and over the last month or so they have become my sole subject matter.

Another fabulous forest floor set, Lynne, of which, apart from the lead image, my favourite is V2.
