Late spring in Swaledale

By Seamuscamp
The meadows in the river meadows in Upper Swaledale are dominated in late Spring by meadow buttercups that somehow compliment the solidity of the apparently organically wandering drystone walls. This view is from the downslope of Kisdon near Muker. RAW conversion was via DxO Optics; the b/w conversion was via Power Retouche B/W Studio plugin and, I think, looks like a fine etching

Great upland landscape, beautifully composed with excellent lead in lines from the walls carrying the eye up to the focal point.
