Laughton Light

By chase
One from Laughton Woods in October,a girl's day out in the company of AlleyCatz...with tea & cream cakes if I remember Wink
Alison was in charge of the gold reflector, whilst I did the 'dirty work' !..thanks Hun Smile

F8 manual mode
1/25th sec with tripod
ISO 200
F/L 105mm
W/B cloudy
Pattern metering.

I like the way the light has caught the edge of the cap & there is a little more of the bg in this one.
Thankyou for taking the time to look & to all those who voted/commented on my B&W attempt...just not me I'm afraid,I need some more lessons on that subject Sad
Janet xx

Now i like the fact that the shroom is dry. The matt finish really does enhance the textures and as such gives that 3D effect. Lovely shot Janet

Janet, I have adjacent fungi in my favourites - yours and Glynn's. The difference in style is significant, but this, like Glynn's has a great natural feel to it. I like the detail on the cap and at the foot of the fungus.
